We farm for future generations

We’re a small family run dairy farm. We have our milking herd of cows, a flock of sheep & 2 pigs!

All members of our family work on our farm. We work hard everyday to keep our farm viable for future generations.

We’re passionate about farming, which is why we diversified into ice cream to be able to continue doing what we love.

Our Farm & cows

We are a family run dairy farm on the Rutland-Leicestershire border at Leesthorpe between Oakham and Melton Mowbray.

We have around 300 cows and calves on our farm and we milk around 150 cows. Our herd mainly consists of Friesian cows.

We pride ourselves in taking great care of our animals and their health and well-being is always our priority. During the spring and summer months our cows are free to roam the grass fields surrounding our farm and café.

Proud to farm

We’re proud to be British farmers.

We look after our cows to the highest standards to ensure they are happy and healthy. We are Red Tractor assured and follow the Clawson 365 programme through our supplier membership.

We strive to continue taking steps to ensure our farm is sustainable & environmentally friendly. Our cows food is completely soya & palm oil free. We have planted herbal leys to help improve our soil structure & soil fertility, which also attracts pollinating insects & a variety of wildlife.

Sheep and lambs

We have a flock of sheep and lambs which you may be able to see grazing the grass fields.

We started off with only a few sheep but this soon grew and we love having them on the farm too.

Our lambing usually starts in April, so see if you can spot any lambs running around during this time!
