We are passionate about ice cream; it’s as simple as that!
This passion, along with a sprinkle of authentic, rural magic and a scoop of farming history, all wrapped up in a waffle cone is how Ferneley’s Ice Cream was born.
We pride ourselves in producing our own milk from our own herd of predominantly Friesian cows, farmed on our family farm near Leesthorpe, a stone’s throw from both Melton Mowbray and Oakham on the idyllic Leicestershire/ Rutland border. This milk is the main ingredient in Ferneley’s Ice Cream, a luxury, dairy ice cream that is created on site in our purpose built Ice Cream Kitchen.
You can even watch how we make it through the viewing window in The Dairy Barn Café whilst you enjoy a relaxing breakfast, light lunch or snack freshly prepared by our friendly staff.
