There is plenty of space for the kids to let off steam here at Ferneley’s!
We have a sand pit, climbing frame & ride on toy area. We also have a covered play tunnel for the younger ones. All completely free!
This is all in close proximity to the Café and outdoor seating area.

We happily welcome cyclists, providing a dedicated bicycle park which is clearly visible from our outdoor patio seating. Our Café is situated on and near many different cycle routes, including route 64 on the national cycle way.
There are many footpaths in the surrounding areas that pass in close proximity to our Café. Our Café makes the ideal starting and finishing point for a lovely circular walk in the Leicestershire countryside.

Well behaved dogs and owners are more than welcome in our dog friendly areas, including inside our main Café area and on the patio with the outside seating.
Dog water bowls are available, just ask a member of staff.
Dogs must be kept on lead and supervised at all times.
We even have dog ice cream available from the cafe!

We have a large car park, with dedicated disabled parking.
We are a wheelchair friendly Café, with large entrances for ease of access. We also have a spacious disabled toilet. Our adventure golf course is also wheelchair friendly.
We are accessible by car, walking, bicycle, bus and on foot.
FAQs
How many cows do you have?
We currently milk around 130 cows and have around 300 cows, calves and young stock on the farm. Please see our farm page to find out more.
Is your milk pasteurised?
Yes all of our milk is pasteurised. We heat the milk up through our pasteuriser to kill any potentially harmful bacteria.
Can I buy milk from your cafe shop?
Yes our milk is available to buy in 1 litre bottles from our shop.
Do you supply wholesale?
Yes we supply wholesale ice cream & milk.

Do you cater for allergies?
We have many alternative options for those with allergies/intolerances.
Many of our ice creams are gluten free. Our sorbets don’t contain milk and are suitable for vegans. We have gluten free and nut free scoops for scooping your ice cream to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
We have oat & soya milk alternatives available for drinks too.
If you do have allergies, please inform a member of staff when placing your order.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes we allow dogs in our main Café area and the outdoor seating area. We also have a small fenced dog run on the side of our car park.
Do I need to book a table?
